The annual “Festival of the Hills” fireworks display, in honor of the Independence Day holiday took place on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 at Borden Park. This year’s festivities included the combined Heart of the Hills Chorus and Macomb Guardians of Harmony Chorus on the big stage at ~7:15 p.m., after which a small group of men from both choruses mingled about the park providing short performances to smaller groups of people. The capstone event of the festival was a wonderful fireworks display, the second largest display in the state of Michigan.
