MEETING SITE


Rehearsals at the White Plains Middle School (previously called The Highlands School), are at 128 Grandview Ave. (use 199 Grandview Ave. for online direction programs), White Plains, NY. See directions and maps below.
  • From Connecticut or New York City via I-95: Take exit (22 Southbound, 21 Northbound on New England Thruway) to I-287 West, then off at Exit 9. Continue on access road (Westchester Ave.) through about 4 lights to Bryant Ave. Left for about 2 miles past North Ave., Mamaroneck Ave., and Old Mamaroneck Rd. to Grandview Ave. Left for about 4 blocks to school at the end of the road. See maps below.

  • From Connecticut on Merritt Parkway: South to Hutchinson Parkway Exit 26 to I-287 West access road. Stay on access road (Westchester Ave.) through about 3 lights to Bryant Ave. Left for about 2 miles past North Ave., Mamaroneck Ave., and Old Mamaroneck Rd. to Grandview Ave. Left for about 4 blocks to school at the end of the road. See maps below.

  • From New Jersey and Upstate NY: Take Tappan Zee Bridge to I-287 (New York Thruway Exit 8) and east to Exit 9A. Stay to the right to get on Westchester Ave. Turn right on Bryant Ave. Go about 2 miles past North Ave., Mamaroneck Ave., and Old Mamaroneck Rd. to Grandview Ave. Left for about 4 blocks to school at the end of the road.   • From New York City: Take Hutchinson River Pkwy. to X-23 to Mamaroneck Ave. Go west nearly 3 miles to Bryant Ave. Left about 4 blocks past Old Mamaroneck Rd. to Grandview Ave. Left for about 4 blocks to school at the end of the road. See maps below.




MEETING SITE

Meetings at the Westchester County Center are held in the Little Theater on the second floor near the front or in the Exhibition Hall basement. The Center is located at the intersection of Central Avenue and Tarrytown Road in White Plains. It can be reached directly from the Bronx River Parkway. It is 3 blocks towards downtown White Plains from exit 5 on the Cross Westchester Expressway (and opposite the City Limits Diner). See the map below. For those of you who are familiar with the building, there is a circle in front of the building. At the opposite end of the building, there is a parking lot that we have permission to use (free) on any night that there isn't a major event in the main hall of the building. When the building is rented on a Monday evening, we have permission to use it on Tuesday evenings.


Note, the official addess is 198 Central Ave., but 101 Central Ave. places the pointer correctly for MapPoint and other mapping programs.
The Hebrew Hospital Home at 61 Grasslands Rd., Valhalla, NY. Off I-287, take exit 3 to Sprain Brook parkway North, then take Eastview exit (Rt. 100C) turn Eastbound (becomes Grasslands Rd). The entrance for the HHH of Westchester is approximately 1/2 mile east of the Sprain Brook parkway (at the bottom of a hill and on a slight curve) on the south side of Grasslands Rd.
