Tall Order was invited to sing in Elkhart, Indiana, for the taping of an episode of a new Travel Channel series, "Made In America."  The quartet, with Adam Kruse substituting for tenor Gus Pelsor, sang "My Wild Irish Rose" outside the Seville Barber Shop, then sang Adam's arrangement of the Barbasol Shaving Cream jingle as show host John Ratzenberger got a shave. The "Barbasol episode" had its debut on the Travel Channel on Tuesday, January 20, 2004.

The Tradesmen enjoyed singing locally at many events, parties and Singing Valentines.  They got their name because they were of different trades, and three of them sang different voice parts.

Tall Order (formerly What Four)

Tall Order had been together since February, 2000, when they delivered Singing Valentines under the name "What Four."  They used that name until April, 30, 2003, when they traveled to Elkhart, Indiana, to tape a segment for a new Travel Channel series: "John Ratzenberger's Made in America."  Knowing that another quartet was singing under the Society-registered name, "What Four," they changed their name to "Tall Order" (Mike is the short guy at 6' 1").  They registered the name with the Society, then drove the 200+ miles to Elkhart to sing.  Gus couldn't come along that day, so Adam Kruse, Mike's son and a former member of the Greensburg, Indiana Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, as well as a former quartet member, sang the Tenor part with them on that gig (as well as arranging the Barbasol jingle).  The quartet had many fun experiences, singing all over southeastern Indiana, including in a county jail and at an open house for a funeral home, as well as at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis.  Tall Order's final performance was Valentine's Day, 2006, at the Crossroads Restaurant in Versailles, Indiana.  Members were (L to R):
Gus Pelsor, tenor (Lawrenceville, IN)
Mike Kruse, lead (Batesville, IN)
Roger Welage, bass (Greensburg, IN)
Gerald Bruns, baritone (Milan, IN)
