Golden Memories
Arlington, Tx. - Good Times Chorus
           Chapters

celebrated in the '88 show with Rural Route 4, Basin Street Quartet, and Humoresque, Arlington's 1988 Southwestern District comedy champions. The Arlington chapter was #1 in Logopedics in Society  in '88 (thanks to Jerry & Mike) with $120.21 per man donated. Kneeland & Anthony Penmngton tookGood Times Chorus to Oklahoma City for an excellent performance in '89. The Arlington chapter was #1 in Achievement in Society in '89.  The Good Times Chorus did not qualify for district in 1990 and Dick Kneeland took a well- earned vacation. Dunn & white took the Good  Times Chorus to the Houston Southwestern District Contest in '91. Arlington's Far Side quartet won the Southwestern District comedy championship In 1993! John McBride was named Southwestern District PR Officer of the Year in 1993 and again in 1994. In 1993 the Arlington chapter had to move from the Community Center because of prohibitive costs of the facility. Fortunately several chapter officers were/and are members of Trinity Methodist Church, which had just completed a magnificent new building. It is an excellent meeting facility and show facility, the cost is low and the support of the church membership has proven valuable.      After his vacation, Dick Kneeland came back, better than ever! The Good Times Chorus has competed in the Small Chapter chorus contest  recently, but may grow too large to be eligible very
         soon.
We're very proud to be the home of the Friends In Harmony quartet. They've been singing together for eight years and as of January 1, 1996 have reached the milestone of raising $50,000 for charities including Heartspring.  John Sellers is president in 1996 and has an excellent Board to oversee him. With Kneeland, Dunn, White and two active quartets, Upscale and Staff Meeting and other talented music leaders, the Good Times chorus and Arlington chapter will continue to make good history far into the future.
