Charter  Presentation  August  28th:
Southwestern District President Ed Reeder, Division II VP John Schneider and Houston Chapter President Bob Mullert presented the official charter to President Jim Ward and all of the Spring Chapter members who gathered at the podium. The Spring Chorus, the Gulf Coast Chord Co and the Corner Congregation provided the music for the occasion. The afterglow was at Holiday Inn 1-45 south of 1960.

"To A Weddin' They'll Be Headin'.," On an August 1982 afternoon in a gazebo in Sam Houston Park with all of downtown Houston in sight, Bea and Car"' Sorenson were united in matrimony. The music was provided by the Spring Chorus and the San Jacinto River Bottom Four.
