The Liberal chapter applied for a license with the Central States District on October 10, 1990, listing 20 names. The chapter at Dodge City was the sponsor.
Our first president was Dr. Phil Bryan and our chorus director was Bryan Fischer. Our charter was received on April 10, 1991 and our Charter Show was staged on May 4, 1991. The feature quartet was Sound Syndicate of Denver, Colorado, who were the 1990 Rocky Mountain regional champs. The Uncalled Four, Haphazards, Chords of Joy (all local quartets) and The Dodge City Town Company from Dodge City also performed. A 24-member chorus called the Wizards of Harmony made up the first show. Fred Teller was the master of ceremonies and presented the charter to Jim Haddock who had worked hard to get the chapter started.
The second show was presented on May 2, 1992. Don Hill was President and Bryan Fischer director. The featured quartet was the Vocal Orchestration Corporation from Lawton, Oklahoma with the emcee Carl Hancuff from Edmond, Oklahoma. The Uncalled Four, Haphaaards, Chords of Joy, and Wizards of Harmony chorus with the added attraction of the O'kan Harmonettes, a ladies' chorus rounded out the show.
Our third show was held on March 27, 1993.Larry Flynt was president with Dale White, director. The Uncalled Four, Misfits, Chords of Joy & Wizards of Harmony Chorus were the local talent. Fascination, a Sweet Adeline quartet from
Hutchison, KS came to grace our stage. Tulsa Tradition from Oklahoma was our featured quartet. Mike Railton was our emcee.
The fourth show was staged on April30, 1994. Larry Flynt was still president and Dale White continued as director.  Our own quartets, Haphazards, Uncalled Four, Chords of Joy, and The New Cavaliers from Wichita performed. Our featured quartet was 7th Avenue from Oklahoma with the Wizards of Harmony chorus malang up the show. Mike Railton was the emcee.
Celebrating our fifth year, we presented our 5th annual show on April 8, 1995. Larry Flynt continued as president with Justin Ediger, director. The Rockies W, from Colorado Springs, CO was our featured quartet. Once again the Haphazards, and Chords of Joy appeared along with a high school quartet called the Treblemakers. Our chorus, the Wizards of Harmony, rounded out our show. Gary Flynt was emcee.
Somewhere in all this we managed to get moved to the Southwestern District.
