fourgetaboutit
The quartet fourgetaboutit has been wowing audiences with its dynamic blend of
voices since 2001, seasoning its barbershop repertoire with a generous dollop of
doo-wop and a sprinkle of jazz. The quartet has performed all over the Baltimore-
Annapolis area, from Annapolis's "Jazz at the Powerhouse" series to
coffeehouses, festival stages and private parties including one where the guest of
honor was a million-dollar restored Corvette! Fourgetaboutit has even dabbled in
musical theater; in the fall of 2006 they played four of the Five Tuxedos in a local
production of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls. This summer Fourgetaboutit was
invited to perform the national anthem for the 2007 home opener of the Bowie
Baysox. All four members of the quartet belong to the Sons of the Severn chorus,
Anne Arundel County's award-winning barbershop chorus, which has been
entertaining audiences and supporting local charities since 1949.
