More new clip art

By John Petterson, EDITOR

This issue has two more pieces of new clip art. The one below [on the web site] is from Bob Dow, who gave us earlier pieces. I asked Bob to do one more with a theme for our Canadian brothers. Much of the current clip art is U.S.-based - holidays and the like.

The other page-width piece is from David A. Rooney, Natick, Mass., Chapter. We may expect to see more from David in the near future. Here is a brief bio:

"I was driving to work (a few) months ago when I stopped at a light. There was a neon-pink sign that said, 'Do you like to sing?' on the telephone pole and Don Davis's phone number.

"I called and he invited me to a rehearsal. It wasn't what I expected, but I ended up enjoying it and I've been going ever since. Just (a few) weeks ago they made me a member and I've performed with them twice.

"I sing lead, mostly by default since those are the notes I can hit. I'm one of the youngest guys in our chorus (and I'm going to be 40 this year!).

"I've done amateur theater, though nothing in years. The closest I came to singing for people was in school musicals, only in the chorus. I hope some day to be good enough to join a quartet, but I'd like to do a more modern repertoire.

"I've always drawn cartoons and while I've been published in my school and college papers, I've never sold anything (no, that's not a hint regarding this strip)."

Thank you, Bob and David, for sharing your talents with the PROBE members.
