New curator/archivist for museum

Please welcome Beverly Brandl McCumber as the new Heritage Hall Museum curator/archivist. Beverly joins the staff on June 13, 2000. A native of Kenosha, she brings with her years of archive experience. The Archive Committee has been searching for a new curator/archivist since Ruth Blazina-Joyce gave birth to twins last year. Beverly was selected from a field of quality applicants.

Ruth Blazina-Joyce will assist Beverly become acclimated with the intricacies of the museum. Our Society owes a great deal to Ruth for the work she did organizing and opening the museum and for the assistance she provided to outside researchers using the museum. Beverly is committed to continue the efforts to preserve our barbershop heritage. You will read more about her in a future Harmonizer article.
