Glory Train, Phil Peterson (Tenor),
Frank Thomann (Lead), Tom McClung (Baritone) and Dave
Cassens (Bass) first started singing together in
February 2006, as one of the Fiesta Chorus’
Valentine’s Day quartets.
While traveling around Escambia County delivering
more than 20 singing valentines the four decided stay
together as a permanent quartet, and came up with the
name F.R.O.G.S, an acronym for “Four Really
Old Guys Singing”.
They eventually bowed to a higher authority,
their wives, who preferred not to be identified as wives
of amphibians, and F.R.O.G.S. eventually gave way to
Glory Train.
