Out of Gas - a barbershop quartet

Out Of Gas - Seniors with attitude, a blend of very good vocals and questionable humor.

Bob Mills - Lead vocals and quartet chaplain. The senior member of our senior quartet (his class' theme for prom was Fire) retired from the Air Force then retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently only working 2 jobs. We've got a pool going to see what he's going to retire from next. Bob first sang on the international stage in 1955 with the Warren Ohio Stephen Foster Chorus and has performed with the Singing Buckeyes, the Capitol City Chorus of Ohio, and The Alliance Chorus of Greater Central Ohio. Bob has performed with several quartets: Special Delivery, Buckeye Blend, Thumbs Up, Test of Time and currently with Out of Gas, of course. He also sings with the St. Gregory's Orthodox Church choir. We attribute all of these singing groups to a short attention span.

Sorry girls, he's married.

Tom Henry - Bass vocals and most handsome member of the group (also maintains the quartet web pages). Tom first sang 4 part harmony on live TV, The Flippo Show in 1965 with the Boys Choir of French Run Elementary School in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and has been hooked on a cappella vocals ever since. He sang baritone with Chord of Appeals for 15 years, a bass singer with Heart of Ohio Chorus since 1986 and has been with The Alliance Chorus since their first rehearsal. Tom is part of the technical support team for Wilke/Thornton, Inc.

Sorry girls, he's married.

Andy Sonderman - Baritone and quartet counsel. Andy met his wife Micheal while singing in the Kent State University Trumbull Campus A Cappella Choir. He's been a fan of both ever since! He sang lead to Tom Henry's baritone with Chord of Appeals and has been a member of Heart of Ohio Chorus since 1988. Andy practices law (still trying to get it right) with the firm of Weltman, Weinburg & Reis in Columbus.

Be thankful he's married, girls . . . And, he's a grandpa!

Rodger Suver - Tenor and chief quartet clown. Rodger has been singing literally all of his life, starting with a PTA performance in grade school! Rodger spent his middle years at Columbus Boy Choir School, studying voice and music theory. From playing the lead in "The Fortune Teller" in high school to "South Pacific" and "The Music Man" most recently, he has spent his life entertaining. Rodger's first love is barbershop music and he has been singing barbershop for fifty years.

Girls, Rodger is so married that he doesn't even look both ways before he crosses the street anymore.
