NO MUSIC? Go to Crescendo and download their free program. Sometimes the program that plays the music will pop up on top of your page. Just click to the side of it, or click on the minus button in the upper right corner to get it out of your way. Also, sometimes when you want to play another song, you need to close out the present music playing by clicking on the X in the upper right corner or the square in the program to the right or left of the arrow. (The arrow means "Go" and the square means "stop." If you want to save a song to your own computer, just do a right-click on the icon for that song, then see a drop-down menu that says "Save target as." Click on that and choose the place where you want to keep the song, either on desktop, on a disk, or in your music files under My Documents. COMPUTER BASICS These few tips are for those who feel like they have five thumbs when seated at a computer keyboard. These will help you get around in here. It can be confusing when you click on a link, and it opens a brand-new window for the next webpage you visit. If the new website window opens too small, look in the upper right corner of the new window and see a minus mark, a square, and an X. Clicking on the minus mark will diminish the window (that means it will store that window in the toolbar/bottom of your screen), the square will make it larger, and the X will close the window. Another way to make the new window larger or smaller is to place your mouse at the corner, side, top, or bottom edge of the window until you see a tiny "double arrow." At that point, do a left-click on your mouse and HOLD IT DOWN while you move the mouse, dragging the corner or edge of the window to the size you want. It does take a little Practice, but it's a worthwhile skill to learn. When you finish with a visited website, look at the upper left corner of the screen and use the "Back" arrow to return to your previous screen. If the "Back" arrow is not highlighted, then use the X in the upper right corner to close the window. Sometimes when you click on a link, it will "hang up" and take forever to load. It might even tell you the page doesn't exist. So click on the "Stop" button, and then the "Reload" or "Refresh" button to give the page another chance. This often works well. These directions work for a PC. I am not familiar enough with the Mac to give instructions about it. Dorothy WANT TO SAVE A PICTURE? Hold your mouse over the photo or drawing, do a right-click. A window will drop down. Choose "Save as" and click on it. Another window will open asking you where to save the graphic. You can save it to a disk, to your desktop, to your Documents, or to your Pictures File. Choose one, then click on Save. Now you've got it and can print it or attach it to an email when you please. WANT TO SAVE THE MUSIC? When you click on the images at the top of "Squeezin's," a box will open showing the music playing. It might be Crescendo, Windows Media Player, or Real Player. You should see the word "File" in the upper left corner. Left click on it and a drop down menu will appear. Choose "Save As" or "Send To" and select the place where you want to store the MIDI, either A: diskette or Desktop or My Music or even a CD. Sometimes you will see the title of the song underlined and in that case, do a right click and the "Save As" choice should appear. INCREASING THE PRINT SIZE ON YOUR MONITOR:
