LOOSE CHANGE  started as a "long-shot" at contest back in 1990 .... and through perseverance and dedication, have worked themselves up to finishing in the top 10 in district competition for the last three years.  In March, 1999, they finished 9th at International Prelims for Dixie District.

'DA-LOOSE' as they are affectionately known to their legions of faithful followers (well, 5 or 6 people, not counting their wives), is one of Birmingham's hardest working quartets.  In just the last year, they have appeared in Christmas at the Alabama, twice with the Wits Other End comedy troupe in a Holiday Cabaret, at the Downtown Kiwanis Club's St. Patrick's Day luncheon, and numerous private parties and luncheons.  One of their favorite gigs was singing for the Simmon's Middle School's Fine Arts Day.  More recently, they have entertained the new inductee's at the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Banquet, and will be the "school board" members in the Music Man later this summer.  Wow, what a summer!!!
