Alumni Night
Sept 9th, 2003
At least once a year we hold an Alumni Night, where we invite any and all past members to join us for a night of singing old standards. We usually sing a variety of "Polecats" that most members know, and also try to teach a few of the new songs. Whenever possible we teach a new "Tag" to the whole assembly.
Its always a grand time renewing old friendships, and hearing about some of the history of the chorus and its members.
Bill, Larry, and Pat directed the chorus in a few polecats, and we formed quartets to sing them. Sung very nicely by a few alumni joined by some regulars.
BackFire (plus 1 minus 1) sang a few numbers and waives hello!
The highlight of the evening was when the Railsplitters performed...
... but they still need some work on their SP !!
