History

This section of our page will not contain to much because there is not to much behind the history of Excess Baggage.  What happened is our tenor, Matt Maynard, was wanting to get a high school quartet together to sing some.  Well on our way down to our district's chorus/quartet competetion we talked about getting one started and who would sing what.  Well we had our baritone, lead, tenor, and coach all in the same vehicle going to the competetion, our only probably was we were one less person to form the quartet.  So we asked each other if we knew of anyone that could sing the bass part in our quartet and there we came up with the astounding, great bass singer, Jason Doss.  Well, our quartet was formed to sing at our chapter's Christmas Show, which was a blast, and it went great, a few wrong notes but from four high school guys it was pretty good.  So hopefully you'll see this quartet some where else out there.
