Casual camping
The Woods has a selection of campsites for the casual camping for friends and family of our permanent members.
Current camping fees (2013) are a modest $30.00 per night.
Individual members of affiliate barbershop clubs (BHS, SAI and HI) will enjoy their first weekend of camping free of charge!
Campsites are equipped with 30 or 15 amp electrical hook-up, running water and a picnic table. Sites are generous and tree lined providing a safe haven for a wide variety of colourful songbirds. Many have designated fire pits for camp fires.
Male and female bath houses with hot and cold running water wash basins, showers and toilets are nearby and include a coin operated laundry facility.
Camping fun
Nature trails throughout the Woods along with a play area for children, a half basketball court, a large swimming pool, a horseshoe pitch and a golf pitching area round out some of the recreational amenities for campers of all ages.
A club house provides an environment suitable for cards and other board games during inclement weather. A library of recycled novels, Friday Night bingos or just plain old barbershop harmony round out some other activities that can be enjoyed.
