Just because Bill is getting up in years (85) and leans on a cane, we did not let him off easy, but made sure he got in his share of singing during the evening. First he had to get on the risers and sing with other members of the Three Rivers Chorus.

Then he sang with Music Menagerie Leo Stefano, Ron Brooks, Bill Hamilton and Joe Veltre.

This was followed by singing with random members of Random Choice Bob Parker, Tom Koch, Bill Hamilton, Mark Pascarella, Bill Amos and Leo Stefano.

We then let Bill sit down and listen to some selections by the Traveler's Ken Williams, George Kosak, Al Kolesar and Don Scheetz.

Bill was presented with a plaque which read:

"The Greater Pittsburgh Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society has elected to proudly recognize as 'Barbershopper Of The Century" on this 22nd day of November 2005, William H. Hamilton, for his sixty-five continuous years of service in local and district functions, his positive attitudes demonstrated by example toward woodshedding, quarteting, competition and chapter relations, his devotion to close harmony and his outstanding contribution to the success of the Greater Pittsburgh Chapter."
