· Bob Cavanaugh passed out a list of men who had attended our show and indicated on the form provided; that they were interested in singing. Bob assigned a member to follow up with these individuals.
· Two guests books have been assembled, but we need at least four more so we'll have enough when guests attend.
· Guy Russo has been contacted again and is scheduled to attend on July 11 and 17 to assist in learning new music.
· A preliminary show committee meeting was held on June 27 and five potential show themes were proposed.
· George Mayer brought up the subject, and a discussion was held concerning the problems Director, Joe Veltre has been having with the lead section. George suggested that extra rehearsals or more time with Guy Russo may help.

Here is something you may have missed from a previous issue of the LiveWire on-line newsletter:
On April 22, 2006, Gordon Lightfoot, legendary singer and song writer, accepted honorary membership in the Barbershop Harmony Society. A native Canadian, Lightfoot received his award during the Champions Show, immediately following the Ontario regional barbershop competition.
In bestowing the honor to Lightfoot, BHS President Drayton Justus said, His music already has etched an indelible mark on modern culture. We like to think his early experience in barbershop harmony encouraged him in some way.
Lighifoot was a member of the Orilla, Ontario chapter of the Society. Lightfoot sang in barbershop quartets back in his teen years and in 2001, sang with the Toronto Northern Lights Chorus as part of a charity fund-raiser.
