Welcome to the Arlington Goodtimes Chorus web site. The Arlington Goodtimes Chorus (GTC) is a Men's Barbershop Chorus based in Arlington, Texas, a chapter of The Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly SPEBSQSA) in the highly competitive Southwest District of Champions. We've been around for many years, spreading four part harmony and good times in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We have won many awards through the years, and we pride ourselves on improving our chorus each year. It's both lots of fun and lots of hard work, as we strive to be the best we can be. Some of our most recent awards: District Plateau AA Champion 2006 and 2007 Our Annual Show Spectacular last year was a rousing success. We hope you didn't miss it - our guests have said it was our best show ever! So, be sure to add our upcoming show to your calendar and join the fun. We have begun a series of performances in nearby cities, generally on the 5th Tuesday night of any month that has one. These are free to the public with a suggested $5 donation to Cook Children's Hospital Speech and Hearing Clinic in Arlington. We will go through a substantial part of our performing repertoire in roughly an hour and afterwards will visit with audience members to further explain our various programs such as Singing Valentines and our annual show. We will also extend an invitation to interested men to join us for a rehearsal and see how much fun our ensemble has. You can assist the Goodtimes Chorus in ways other than singing. After you have had a chance to browse our web site, you may find that you would like to book a show, schedule a Singing Valentine in February, or become a sponsor or volunteer. We are very grateful to all the wonderful volunteers and sponsors that make what we do possible. We invite you to use the links at the left of each page to explore our web site, and we hope you'll visit us in person as well.
