Bass:
Jason James
Jason
began his journey into the wonderful world of barbershop at the age
of 13 when he began singing tenor in a quartet comprised of his grandfather
and two cousins. The day after his voice changed he moved to bass
and has been there ever since. According to him, anyone who has the
range would of course sing bass as they are the foundation upon which
all greatness rests.
Throughout
his life in music Jason has had the opportunity to travel to such
exotic places as Spain, Australia, and the great state of Missouri.
While in Australia, he had the honor of performing in the opening
ceremonies of the 2000 Summer Olympic Games with the Valhalla High
School Marching Band.
Jason
graduated from the University of San Diego in 2005 with a bachelors
degree in Business Administration with a minor in music. He works
as a financial analyst for Northop-Grumman in San Diego. In his
spare time Jason enjoys horseback riding, shooting trap, playing
golf, and singing the bass part to any and every song ever written
while walking past innocent bystanders who have no idea what he
is doing. He is single and desperate.
