Participating in Disney portion of theTournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, CA. It was a grueling ride down the entire parade route. These Dapper Dans were also used for a few seconds in a Disneyland commercial that aired between New Years and the spring of 1981. In the commercial they rode by on the bike on Main Street, U.S.A. and said "Welcome back!" while tipping their hats. The jingle in the background went something like this: "Disneyland is your land, it lives because of you. Each time we say "Welcome back!" it always feels brand new."
