Summer, 1986
Striking a handsome pose in the Kodak Portrait Studio on Main Street, U.S.A. A few months prior in March of 1986, the talent department hired Shelby Grimm to be in the revived Dapper Dans. An experienced harmony singer (had his own quartet in high school and in college) and tap-dancer, Shelby had performing commitments with the Debbie Reynolds act at the time and could not start immediately. He then started full-time with the Dapper Dans on June 24, 1986. He switched from baritone to lead in September of '86.
