Mahlon Schanzenbach, Doug Strawn,
Don Lindstrom, Mike Gallup

April 14, 1967.
Participating in the annual Easter Parade. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, antique autos and other singing groups also took part. The streetcar horse – Sylvia, isn’t quite sure about her Easter bonnet. Each quartet member was either teaching school or attending college at the time. Mahlon and Doug attended Cal State at Long Beach, where Doug had roomed with Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters. Mahlon was a college level voice teacher for many years, which included teaching at Cypress College and U.C. Irvine. Doug (who became the leader of the group) and Mahlon did a lot of their musical arrangements, many with adventurous embellishments on the barbershop style.
