March, 1967.
Riding the horseless carriage in Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. After retiring from the Dapper Dans (he would return to sub in the 1970s and again become a regular in the late 1980s) and going back into teaching, Jim Schamp remembers one day at Kennedy High School when the Dapper Dans came to perform for an assembly. It was the first time he had met the new Dapper Dans (Mahlon Schanzenbach, Don Lindstrom, Mike Gallup and Doug Strawn.) He got up and sang "Hello, My Baby" with them for fun and subbed one day with them but was not ready to do more at that time.
