1967.
Performing at Mickie Finn’s nightclub in San Diego. As time went on, the quartet began to use the name "Dapper Four" instead of Dapper Dans, upon Chuck Corson's (Disneyland stage manager) request. The Dapper Dans went with the Mickie Finn act on the road again, opening on June 29, 1967 for 3 weeks at John Ascuaga’s The Nugget Club in Sparks, Nevada outside of Reno (where they had played previously and would again many times.) They also appeared with Dinah Shore. The Mickie Finn act was selected for Alberta, Canada's 100th Anniversary celebration from July 20-22, 1967. Fred Finn was also very proud that they played for Ronald Reagan at the governor's mansion in Sacramento for a press party on July 27, 1967.
