Ted Nichols, Roger Axworthy,
John Borneman, T.J. Marker

August, 1960.
Entertaining Disneyland guests in the Upjohn Pharmacy. They also would perform at the Swift Premium store and be offered cups of cider and in Sunkist they got orange juice. Pretty good gig! They remember performing for Esther Williams' daughter's birthday party at the Plaza Inn. Some of the first songs in the Dapper Dans repertoire were: "Shine On Me," "Coney Island Baby," "Aura Lee," "On San Francisco Bay," "Never Throw A Lighted Lamp at Mother," "After Dark," "Mood Indigo," "Carry Me Back To Old Virginny," "Daddy, Get Your Baby Out of Jail," "I've Been Working On The Railroad" and "Lida Rose." They included stock SPEBSQSA arrangements, custom-made ones (some by Earl Moon) and selections from the barbershop harmony music books edited by Sigmund Spaeth.
