Fred Frank, Wally Boag,
Walt Disney, John Borneman,
Roger Axworthy, T.J. Marker

Summer, 1961.
Rare photo of Walt Disney with the Disneyland entertainment cast members. Behind the Dapper Dans are the Young Men of New Orleans. T.J. remembers that Walt would often ask them to sing for him and would not give autographs to guests until the quartet had finished their song. At this time the Dapper Dans were the only people in the park allowed to wear moustaches. An unrelated memory: Fred remembers the quartet riding around the hub when one of them said, "Go around again." They then stopped and had a nice conversation with Groucho Marx who was sitting on a bench enjoying the park. Out of respect for his privacy, they did not attract a crowd by singing to him.
