Haunted Mansion 30^th Anniversary

In honor of the 30^th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion attraction, a two day celebration was held on June 26^th and 27^th, 1999. On the evening of the 26^th, over 1000 guests witnessed a panel discussion at the Fantasyland Theatre with some of the creative people who brought the Haunted Mansion to "life." 

The Dapper Dans materialized as the Hitchhiking Ghosts and the Grave Digger from the attraction.  They then proceeded to sing a rousing rendition of the theme song from the Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts."

Cavalcade & Ceremony Featuring Mo Vaughn

The Anaheim Angels first baseman, along with boys and girls from the "Gene Autry RBI League," participated in a mini calvalcade and ceremony with the Dapper Dans on Main Street, U.S.A. outside the Disney Showcase. On the platform with Mo Vaughn is Cynthia Harriss, Executive Vice President of the Disneyland Resort and Joltin’ Joe Jocubite, wacky emcee and Anaheim Angels Number One Fan.
