City of Lights Chorus was chartered in 1948 as the Kenmore (New York) Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, claiming the distinction of being the first chorus established east of the Mississippi. The chorus is a performance group and enjoys entertaining at fund raisers, variety or theme shows, and for those at nursing homes, retirement facilities, hospitals and other civic groups and clubs.
