A New Beginning

In the Fall of 2006 two barbershop charters, The Elyria Cascade Chordsmen and The Great Northern Chorus, found themselves floundering. Both were suffering from loss of membership and the resulting diminished audience.

Concerned about our very existence, we agreed to a combined show. With three directors, two rehearsal sites, and music from both repertoires we didn’t know quite what to expect.

The resulting show was a complete success, and we haven’t looked back.

With a series of shows behind us, each one more successful than the last, we have truly become one chorus:

The Northern Cascade Chordsmen.
