St. Louis Music Dirctor Becomes SA International President-ElectMAY 29, 2001 Diane Huber, director of the River Blenders Chorus, achieves the high honor of being named President-elect of Sweet Adelines International. In May of 2004, Huber will become the President of Sweet Adelines International.
Huber, is a 29-year veteran of Sweet Adelines. Recognized worldwide as a music educator, Huber is a member of Region 5 Music Staff, Sweet Adelines International Board of Directors & Faculty, Coronet Club Board of Directors and coach to both choruses and quartets. As a member of Ambiance quartet (active 1986-1995), Diane is an international champion who has performed the world over, including twice in Carnegie Hall.
Huber has been the director of the River Blenders Chorus for 12 years. Huber is a St. Louis native. She and her husband, Gary, currently live in St. Peters, MO.
The River Blenders Chorus is one of over 600 choruses of Sweet AdelinesInternational; a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to singing four-part, a cappella harmony, barbershop style. With more than 30,000 members on five continents, Sweet Adelines International is the world's largest singing organization for women.
