It will contain the 2007-08 AHSOW election results, new member reports from the Denver convention and Harmony University and the board minutes from Denver. Wow, that's a ton to throw at you at once! *** Minutes of the Denver meting can be found on the AHSOW website. First, my sincere apologies for the delay on the 2007-08 elections. There was a problem with the company we used to get the snail mail ballots copied and mailed to non e-mail members. They copied the materials but then never sent them out for us by the deadline se gave them. After a 30-day delay, we DID get the ballots back and the elections are now completed and official. I was the person who made the call to delay the process and do it correctly. I stand by my decision and I hope you all appreciate our efforts to keep the integrity in the election process. Your 2007-08 Slate of Officers are: President - Bob Coant Exec. VP - Sam McFarland Corp. Sec. - Noah Morrison Treasurer - Rod Sparks Educ. Manager East - Don Dobson The votes were: 219 - yes 5 - no 5 - disqualified The Denver convention was an incredible one. We gained 20 new members and the AHSOW room was open almost continually every day all week long. I want to personally than all members who attended and helped out manning the room, certifying and being good ambassadors for AHSOW. They include: John Fisher, Don Dobson, John Schulkins, Glenn Schilberg, Raleigh Block, John Fabian, Tom Wiener, Tom Millot, Earle Holt, and anyone else I've missed. We had an incredibly positive and productive board meeting. The minutes of that meeting are attached for your information. The next convention will be the San Antonio, TX midwinter. I am accepting agenda items for that meeting now and have already received some agenda items. I invite any AHSOW member to attend this meeting and welcome your input but especially, the SINGING afterwards!
