Who were those guys?

Tall Order had been together since February, 2000, when we delivered Singing Valentines under the name "What Four."  We used that name until April, 30, 2003, when we traveled to Elkhart, Indiana, to tape a segment for a new Travel Channel series: "Made in America."  Knowing that another quartet was singing under the Society-registered name, "What Four," we changed our name to "Tall Order" (Mike is the short guy at 6' 1").  We registered the name with the Society, then drove the 200+ miles to Elkhart to sing.  Gus couldn't come along that day, so Adam Kruse, Mike's son and a former member of the Greensburg, Indiana Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, as well as a former quartet member, sang the Tenor part with us on that gig (as well as arranging the Barbasol jingle for us).  Now, let's see if we can get all the names straight...

The members of Tall Order were:
Tenor: Gus Pelsor from Lawrenceville, Indiana
Lead: MIke Kruse from Batesville, Indiana
Bass: Roger Welage from Greensburg, Indiana
Baritone: Gerald Bruns from Milan, Indiana

We had a great time singing all over central and southeastern Indiana, including at a county jail, for an open house at a funeral home, and several gigs at the Indiana State Museum.  It was a blast!  Now we are ready for new experiences, musical and otherwise.  Thanks to our families and friends for their support.  "Keep the whole world singing!"
