Songfellows "a barbershop quartet"

For the past few years these 4 guys have been traveling around the Tampa Bay area sharing their love of barbershop music and laughter with audiences of all ages.

It all started when Marty (the bass) just had to have 3 other guys to help him sing one of his favorite songs; Lida Rose  (from the great show, THE MUSIC MAN).  He knew just where to look.   This foursome was created out of a common association.  Their musical skills are continually sharpened by all being members of the award winning show chorus, The Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony.  Marty, along with Brad (the lead), Russ (the tenor), and Jim (the baritone) have each discovered the tremendous joy that is "barbershop harmony".  [Now, you'll just have to guess which one is the former college professor, the high school teacher, the foot doctor, or the former district manager of a major retail department store.]

As they began to sing together and prepare for their first "gig", they realized that this could be the beginning of a "beautiful friendship", as well as a lot of fun and, hopefully, the chance to spread some pleasure and encouragement to people who could use just a little more of those commodities in their world!

What SONGFELLOWS has found is this.... singing together is indeed a genuine blessing for the four of them.

AND, it's their most sincere hope that it's a blessing to all  who hear them as well.
