Our Mission

The main goal of The Southlanders is very simple:

Excellence In Musical Performance

In order to attain this goal, men from the Southside of Atlanta of varying backgrounds and musical experience, are working together at our rehearsals to improve our skills as we prepare to give performances that are fun for us, and entertaining for the communities we represent.  As our membership represents several communities, we will strive to be the community chorus for Fayetteville, Jonesboro, and McDonough and serve them equally.

We take pride in our performances and it is our belief that the music we create is the most important aspect of our Chapter.  From that music comes great fellowship among our members. When we produce good musical harmony, we promote good social harmony as welll
