Our Webmaster is Steve Currington.
Steve has been singing Barbershop in New Zealand since 1993. He has sung both lead and tenor in the groups and occasionally can be heard singing bass - such is his vocal range. He has been active in various activities within the barbershop world since joining. He is a real enthusiast and has coached National Champion quartets and High School quartets (including National High School Champ Quartets), taught in workshops, sung in Medallist Quartet and Chorus and been involved in spreading the good news of barbershop all over the world.
During his barbershop history Steve has toured with his Quartet extensively throughout New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and USA. He has attended a number of local NZ & Australian Harmony Colleges; International, Australian, Pan Pacific and local New Zealand Conventions. He represents NZABS on the World Harmony Council at international gatherings. He has held various positions within the his Chapter management team including amongst others - Chorus Manager, Section Leader and Publicity/Public Relations Manager. Steve also maintains assorted barbershop
websites including the World Harmony Council and the NZABS websites. Steve runs the very popular and award winning Encore Barbershop Internet Radio Show. On a personal note Steve is Director of his own technology company - Total Computer Solutions Limited. He has been involved with the computer industry since the early 1980's.
