Diane Sussuma, tenor: Diane is a second generation barbershopper. Her dad introduced her to this addictive hobby and she's proud to carry on the tradition. In addition to singing the high notes, in real life Diane teaches sixth grade language arts. Somehow she still has the stamina to sing a couple of times a week! Diane is a proud resident of Staten Island, NY, dubbing it her "isle." Contact Diane.
Jean Schoenlank, lead: Jean, like the others, has been singing her whole life and comes from a musical family. She started out in barbershopping as a baritone, but once her true personality emerged, she had to be a lead. Jean, who lives in Waldwick, NJ, is an elementary principal in Ridgewood, NJ, and she is also a doctoral student in her spare time. Jean's dad is the quartet's biggest fan!
Contact Jean.
Beth Fulton, baritone: Beth inherited a love of music from her dad. Her musical career began in her high school marching band playing saxophone, and she continued marching at Bowling Green State University. She also sang in their fine music program, so barbershopping was a natural step for her. She loves singing bass, but since Mary Jo had seniority, Beth agreed to take on those "leftover" bari notes. Beth works in New York City for an executive search firm, commuting from Glen Rock, NJ. Contact Beth.
Mary Jo Pardee, bass: Mary Jo comes from a proud history of barbershopping. Her dad, Hal Purdy, was a much beloved barbershopper and a great supporter of the hobby. Mary Jo's first quartet was with her dad and her two brothers. Since then she's been in more quartets than she can count (or remember). When she's not singing, you'll catch her knitting compulsively and thoroughly enjoying her grandchildren and her retirement. She's a resident of Summit, NJ. Contact Mary Jo.
