On June 14th, Six Foot Four had its first ever session in a real recording studio! Hopefully, the quartet will schedule many more sessions and eventually release a CD. But for now, you can at least check out some Sound Clips.
On May 26th, Six Foot Four entered the Eastern Region Quartet Contest in Sydney by video, achieveing a ranking of fifth. The tough competiton for 2003 included Tasmanian quartet Close Shave who skipped the 2001 contest, but are now back and good as ever! The winning quartet was certainly no surprise - Freefall. They will be a joy to listen to in Perth. Six Foot Four's performance in this contest means that they have successfully qualified for the National Barbershop Convention in Perth in October.
On October 9th, Six Foot Four will fly to Perth for the Australian Association of Men's Barbershop Singers (AAMBS) National Convention.
